Jessica Parsons
b. Palestine, TX 1989

Jessica Parsons is a recent Spring 2023 graduate of the University of Texas at Tyler with a Bachelor's in Fine Art receiving Magna Cum Laude Honors. Certified in Art Education for EC-12 for the State of Texas through the Regions 7 Teacher Certification Preparation Program 2024. She is committed to working in multiple mediums, creating pieces that showcase conceptional themes of surrealism and expressionism through spiritual growth within natural elements. She has resided in Kilgore, Texas with her husband and two children for nearly a decade. She is an alumna of Kilgore College where she graduated with honors in the Summer of 2019. Parsons has previously taught in Whitehouse ISD during her Student Teaching, Kilgore ISD and taught her first year in Tyler ISD. Today, she continues teaching her passion of visual arts for an elementary school within Marshall ISD.
